About Me

Thanks Thanks for stopping by.

I’ve been living the Internet Lifestyle since 1998… back when “getting online” sounded like a fax machine arguing with itself and nobody had a clue what this whole internet thing would become. This site isn’t a funnel, a pitch, or a carefully curated highlight reel. (maybe a little bit)I use this space to think out loud, hoping something I share clicks for you and connects dots in a way that finally makes sense. Some of it will be business. Some of it will be philosophy. Some of it will be half-baked ideas that turn into something later. And some of it might just make you laugh or go, “huh… never thought of it like that.”If you’re looking for the more structured, business side of what I do—the data, the systems, the “make it rain” stuff—you’ll find that over at ChiefRainmaker.com If you’re curious about my creative side, that lives over at RickBliss.com Here, it’s just me. I’ve been an entrepreneur since I was a teenager, which is a polite way of saying I never really got the hang of having a boss. Over time, I built businesses that gave me something most people wait their whole life for—control over my time. For most of my adult life, I’ve lived what people call “retired”… without ever retiring. I don’t work because I have to. I work because I get to. No countdown to 65. No “one day I’ll start living. Just building things I enjoy, when I want, how I want.

That’s the game.

There’s a line I picked up as a teenager—literally off a bumper sticker—that stuck with me ever since:

“I’ve done so much with so little for so long… that now, I can do anything with nothing.” My Motto.

It sounded funny at the time.

Turns out… it was a business strategy.

Around here, I’ll explore:

  • Entrepreneurship as a lifestyle (not a phase you outgrow)
  • Freedom, time, and what actually matters
  • Business models that don’t feel like jobs wearing hoodies
  • Sharing travel photos, insights, and my ongoing obsession with travel hacking (because the un-retired life should come with better flights)
  • Old CHILI Productions stories… and yeah, there are some wild ones

And whatever ideas I can’t seem to leave alone

Some of it will land. Some of it will wander and ramble. All of it will be real. Except for the AI parts. :)

Let’s get into it.

Cheers,

Gil

The Things I Do...

(a.k.a. How I Stay “Un-Retired”)

You’ve probably heard the line, “Do what you love and you’ll never work a day in your life.”

Whoever said that wasn’t wrong… they just left out the part where you still work—you just actually enjoy it.

That’s been the game for me.

These days, you’ll usually find me working poolside in shorts and flip-flops, somewhere near the water. Long lunches? Extended trips? Random midweek resets? All fair game. When you own your time, your schedule stops asking for permission.

Back in my thirties, one of my businesses crossed $2 million a month—and that’s when it hit me:

I’m not retiring. Ever.

Not because I have to… but because I don’t want to.

I like building. I like solving problems. I like turning ideas into something real. That doesn’t shut off at 65 or when you have enough investment or pension income—it just gets better.

When I’m not deep in business mode, I’m usually doing something that feels exactly the same… just labeled differently:

painting, fishing for trout, or plotting a few moves ahead on a chessboard.

Different arenas. Same mindset.

My Motto: "I’ve done so much with so little for so long that now, I can do anything with nothing"

About us

Profit Worldwide, Inc.

PWI is my innovation lab—where data, audience, and marketing systems come together to build real-world outcomes. Originally founded in 2004, it evolved from consulting into a platform for testing, designing, and launching scalable customer acquisition and audience-driven strategies across multiple ventures. Chief Rainmaker & XLR brands are under PWI. Visit ChiefRainmaker.com to see all the projects.

About us

Chief Rainmaker (Fractional CMO) is where I design and install AI-powered revenue engines that turn attention into predictable growth. Not more marketing—better systems. By integrating AI, data, and conversion into one unified machine, I help companies scale faster with fewer moving parts and less overhead. The focus is simple: build the engine, optimize it with real buyer signals, and let it compound. The result? Leaner teams, smarter execution… and growth that doesn’t need babysitting—it just makes it rain. Review my past and current projects at ChiefRainmaker.com you’ll see the vast scope of data driven marketing platforms I’ve built.

About us

XLR (eXtra Large Revenue) is a system for building AI-powered income engines across multiple niches—starting with AffiliateXLR at the core and expanding into verticals like TravelXLR, Health, Crypto, and beyond. We help entrepreneurs, creators, and everyday operators turn attention into recurring revenue by building real assets: a brand, a list, and a value-driven hub. No hype, no “post and pray”—just proven systems that create results, stack over time, and give you leverage in any market you choose to play in.

About us

As Rick Bliss, I started with abstract body imprinting—using the human form as the brush. That evolved into a broader creative outlet spanning fiber art, abstract painting, and sculpture.

Different mediums, same goal: create something real, expressive, and a little unpredictable.

The work I’m showing at RickBliss.com I did over twenty years ago.

Today, I have an art studio, I try to spend time creating each week, however, my attention is on AI.

CHILI Productions / The Book / 104 Pages of history

I share stories I’ve never told publicly or privately. I’ve compiled a brief collection of tales that chronicle my journey from 1985 to 2001 when I operated CHILI Productions, producing hundreds of nightclubs and underground music events. What began as a simple project, annotating flyers to give them context, has expanded into this prologue of the stories I will one day tell in more detail. These anecdotes capture the essence of my experiences in the nightlife and entertainment industry, offering glimpses into the vibrant and sometimes chaotic world that shaped the path to my artwork as Rick Bliss.

Here are some of the highlights:

  • How I became business partners with a significant Mexican crime boss.
  • How I ended up in a Mexican prison.
  • How I had a contract on my life and lived to tell about it.
  • How I ended up in a little room with two-way mirrors at the Secret Service office.
  • How I produced some of the largest underground music festivals in Southern California.
  • How I got robbed at gunpoint at a nightclub event I produced on the Las Vegas Strip.

Plus, many more fun anecdotes of how I got started in the nightlife and entertainment industry, ultimately leading to the creation of Art of the Body by Rick Bliss.

This collection is intended to provide you with an insight into the origin story of my artwork. As you read through these tales, I hope you find them as entertaining and enlightening as they were for me to live and recount. Enjoy this journey through my memories, and I look forward to sharing more in-depth stories with you in the future.
